TICKETS TO STATIC AT ORLANDO FRINGE!
STATIC is a theater / live concert production that tells the story of a son using music as a means to cope with losing his father to dementia.
The play was conceived by actor / playwright Conor Kelly O’Brien after being inspired by the music of New Orleans musician, Daniel Amedee, who writes and performs under LIGHT SOUND.
Amedee has been touring full time since 2012 and has performed all over the US, Canada, Ireland, and England. He has been fortunate enough to work with industry notables such as Noel Hogan (The Cranberries), Pat Spurgeon (Rogue Wave), and Sylvain Carton (Beats Antique) to name a few.
O’Brien is a writer / arts administrator most recently seen Off-Broadway with the The Actors Company Theatre's (TACT) production of Arsenic & Old Lace and various featured television roles (The Deuce, Mysteries at The Museum). Conor has performed on stages across the country (Kansas City Stages, 59E59 Theatres, Pittsburgh Fringe, The Cell Theatre, Under St. Marks, Philadelphia Improv Theatre, etc). He is the co-founder and director of the Scranton Fringe Festival and a proud member of the New Vintage Ensemble.
STATIC is a multifaceted production that utilizes projections, live music, and a simplistic approach to story telling in order to deliver an emotional, moving performance that is sure to leave you heartened and shaken.
See STATIC at The Orlando Fringe Festival in May, Off Broadyway in July, and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August. Full dates and times here.
